Fall Newsletter 2013

I love houzz. I get great ideas from their website and some perks for my own home and business.

One thing I love is reading many of the home stagers posts on clearing clutter and preparing a home for sale. I especially like this one posted by Laura Gaskill.

Above and Beyond! What I like to do for my clients.

We all have vendors we prefer to use. Our favorites tend to enjoy doing little extras for their clients - mostly without ever having to be asked. I try to do that same thing for my clients.

One area of strength for me is my photoshop expertise. I've been a digital restoration specialist for 14 years so I've got more than a few tricks up my sleeve. I use these skills to help produce the best images for my clients.

I strive for clean and balanced images. Most of the time I can do that through the camera, but sometimes there are things in the way, things that weren't left on or off, or things sellers may not have had time to take care of.

I want to show you a few examples of what I've done recently.

  1. Sign Removal - properties look more inviting without a for sale sign
  2. Replace a lightbulb - this example is from an empty house so the sellers didn't know the bulb was out
  3. Fire added to a fireplace - the owner wasn't home to turn the fireplace on so I added the fire in post processing
  4. Mulch anyone? We don't need that in the driveway so I removed it
Can I do anything? Of course not. But I can work some pretty good Photoshop magic!

Happy Shooting!
Carolyn

Need a Seller Checklist to help them prep for our photo shoot?

I've created one just for agents to hand out to their clients before the photo shoot. It explains why you are choosing to hire a professional and what they need to do to prepare their home for the photography shoot.

Click here for a pdf version. I also have heavy card stock fold-over cards. Just send me a note if you'd like a few! There's even a space on the back for your information.
